Boots & Hearts Country Music Festival came to a close this past Sunday evening. It ran from August 8th, 2019 to August 11th, 2019.

It was another giant success, in all aspects, from the acts, number of attendees, right to the prefect weather we received. It could not have been scripted any better.

Maren Morris hit the Main Stage kicking off her 19 song set with nothing other than ‘GIRL‘ to get the crowd going. She stood raised up on a set of stairs towards the rear of the stage.

One of the many highlights, was to see her husband Ryan Hurd come out on stage to a duet with Maren of ‘All My Favourite People‘.

Maren truly went above and beyond what the crowd had expected from her, with her vocals right on key throughout her set and ensuring she played all of the hits as the crowd sang along in a Karaoke like fashion.

Kane Brown hit the stage on Sunday evening, just before sunset of another fabulous day both musically and weather wise.

Kane had the crowd into it, getting a bit personal and emotional with his story of growing up and how he was negatively treated by his stepfather as he broke into his song he wrote about it called ‘Learning‘.

Kane carried the crowd up until it was time for the final set of the weekend, this one by none other thanJason Aldean.

Morgan Wallen had a crowd scatter from the main stage to a side stage like I have never seen before. As he played on the Front Porch stage, it showed the amount of fans he had there this weekend just to see him, it was astronomical!

The crowd was not disappointed, loud and proud right to the end of Morgan’s set.

Kip Moore walked out on the main stage to a packed crowd with a bottle of Jack Daniels in hand, which he took a swig from, being that this was his first time at Boots & Hearts. This made for a great entrance!

As he clearly stated “Its time to tear some shit up“, he did just that, playing hits like ‘Beer Money‘, ‘Girls Like You‘, ‘Last Shot‘ in which the crowd made it clear they loved it all by the singing, cheering and a few crowd surfing!

Carly Pearce made her presence on the Boots & Hearts stage for the first time this year, bringing along with her the hits ‘Every Little Thing‘ and ‘Closer to You‘ for the energetic crowd.

She took some time in between songs to get personal and explain her engagement to now Fiancé Michael Ray

A strong voice and active on the stage, using all the space was great for the crowd as it was building up, to get a good view of her and the band.

Cole Swindell made his debut appearance at Boots & Hearts this year, as a headliner on the main stage.

The crowd was singing and cheering from the beginning, to the point Cole spoke of it between songs. Letting the crowd know that he would never forget this, and that he wanted to see Boots & Hearts for himself, after seeing it on social media posts previously.

As the crowd roared, he went into playing a bit of ‘Old Town Road‘ from NAS-X and Billy Ray Cyrus, which they all loved of course, but then said “Let’s get back to the songs I wrote’ as he continued his set of new music along with his previous hits he played through for the night.

Cole fit right in with the interaction of this younger crowd, and was one of the big hits of the festival.

Our very own Canadian country star Tim Hicks was all over the main stage at Boots and Hearts this year, interacting with the crowd and signing hats from fans while playing.

Coming out to the hit new tune of ‘New Tattoo‘ which was plastered all over the back wall during his performance, it got the crowd up and dancing, and they didn’t let up throughout the entire energetic performance.

Tim has a lot of Loyal fans within the Boots and Hearts community, as he was a finalist in the 2012 Emerging Artist Showcase, in which David Boyd Janes took home this year.
